I was born in Huntington, Long Island, New York, but grew up in East Setauket, also on Long Island. I attended the Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia and then attended Skidmore College where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree. I earned my Master in Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently I am employed as the Northeast District Manager of AGS Publishing (Educational Sales and Marketing).
I have two wonderful daughters, Emily and Ashley. Emily Miller Dechow and her husband Joe reside in the Buffalo, NY area with my grandaughter Kayla Rose! Emily is the editor of the New York Holstein News, and Joe is a nutritional consultant for a feed company. Ashley Ann Miller resides in Schulyerville, NY (outside of Saratoga) and manages health and nutrition programs on a large dairy.
I love horses, gardening, skiing, running, aerobics, biking, cooking, reading, and traveling!
I serve on the Connecticut Hunter and Jumper Association Board of Directors as the Editor of the In and Out. I am also President of the Scholarship Fund.
