Karen Amedeo
I grew up in Longmeadow, MA but also lived in
Pennsylvania, Georgia
and Florida. My husband Joe and
I and daughter Kelsey returned to New England from Florida in 1994.
After an initial career in nursing, I earned an MBA from
Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I was Vice President of Jenaway
Communications, an advertising agency in the Philadelphia area, before moving to
Florida in 1987. While in Florida, I was the owner of Creative Direct, and
worked as a public relations, management and fund raising consultant.
Horses and riding have always been a
passion of mine, one that I now share with my daughter Kelsey. I
also love attending horse shows, reading, scrapbooking, traveling,
volunteer work, and shopping!
I serve the CHJA as its Treasurer and
as Co Chairman of the Equitation Committee.
