Matt Couzens

My wife Donna and I live in Ellington, Connecticut. We are the proud parents of two children and four incredible grandchildren. I have a few horses and actively compete in the adult divisions. I have a young horse, Hannah, at Windsor Show Stables in East Windsor, CT. She is four years old and is a terrific horse and friend. I am living a lifelong dream when I spend time with the horses and compete with them.

I was born in Boston and grew up in Newton, which is right outside of Boston. I attended Rutgers University where I obtained a Bachelors and a Masters Degree. Currently I work for IBM as a Sales Executive in the Systems and Technology Group. Besides my passion for horses, I also play a variety of sports. The major food groups for me are diet coke, popcorn and pizza!

I am a member of both the Connecticut Hunter and Jumper Association and the Scholarship Association's Board of Directors. I am also Chairman of the Sportsmanship Award Committee.
