About the CHJA Logo
Talented local artist, Whitney Kurlan Piatkowski, created the original logo used by the CHJA over 20 years ago. The drawing was originally a pen and ink 
piece. Whitney recently contacted us after her mother happened to see the logo on our website. She was both surprised and delighted that the artwork was still being used!
In 2005 the CHJA decided to bring a a more current look to the logo and hired Meghan Grady of Mixed Media Creative to update it. The new CHJA logo was introduced to the membership at the 2006 Annual Banquet. It can now be found on all year awards, on the Banquet and Medal Finals Programs, on the official CHJA web site, on coolers, jackets, t-shirts and even hats! It is instantly recognizable!
