2005-09-28 Thank You From The Dobbs Family

We have several memories and photos of our year as a CHJA Member.  But the photos I am most fond of are like this one. In it are three girls from three different barns relaxing after their short stirrup classes.  This photo includes Brigid Dobbs, Kate Hamel, and Savanna Hajdasz. Currently the girls occupy the top three spots in the Short Stirrup Division. Their ponies hold the top three spots in the Short Stirrup Hunter Division. They are friends and companions rather than competitors. This photo was taken at the July 30th Windcrest Farm horse show. It was Brigid's last show in Connecticut for we have had to relocated to San Antonio, Texas. Savanna's and Kate's Moms, Tiffany & Mel, brought cake and beverages to celebrate Brigid's going away. The three girls and their families enjoyed the cake with other show participants and as you can see from the photo - several puppies and ponies. Thank You to the families and riders of CHJA for making our introduction into the equestrian community such positive and fun experience.
