Welcome
On behalf of the Equitation Committee of the Connecticut Hunter and Jumper Association, we welcome all the riders, families, and trainers to the 27th annual CHJA Medal Finals Weekend!
We have put together a Finals Weekend that is sure to be enjoyable for all. All the familiar elements are in place; accomplished judges, great courses, wonderful prizes for all, a super program that is a true keepsake, the scrumptious complimentary buffets, an accommodating schedule, and a beautiful setting at the Fairfield County Hunt Club. 
The past year has been a challenging economic time for everyone, but we have worked very hard to make sure Finals weekend will still represent a little bit of magic in your show season. Everyone who qualifies has put great effort into coming here, and you deserve the recognition. So look for a few surprises this year!
We hope you will have the time (and the ride!) of your life this weekend, and we are very thankful for your support of the CHJA. While you are here, we hope you will remember to give a kind word to everyone who made it possible – your family, your trainer, your horse, your vet, groom and farrier, all our incredibly generous sponsors, the CHJA volunteers (they are all so professional, you may forget they are volunteers!), and lastly, YOURSELF!
